Abundance is in the air – longer days, fresh fruits and vegetables, time with family and neighbors, being outside! And today marks the first day of our summer campaign: Extendiendo la abundancia (Spreading Abundance). We are celebrating the successes of our community and shining a light on the importance of work focused on climate change and food advocacy. Support Familias by donating or sharing our social media posts. Each donation of $10 or more enters you into our raffle for a Patagonia bag! Link to donate: https://lnkd.in/gtSpeEE5

Want a spectacular opportunity to engage with our conference keynote speaker, Paola Mendoza? Join us for a film screening of Entre Nos by Paola! The film is inspired by a true story and follows a Colombian immigrant, Mariana, who is trying to survive with her two children in New York. Navigating a fast-paced city with an unfamiliar language, struggling with barriers to access reproductive healthcare, and finding ways to overcome poverty, Entre Nos shows us just a few of the common struggles Latine immigrants experience coming to the United States of America. Light snacks provided and beverages will be available for purchase. The film audio will be in Spanish with English subtitles. Link for more information: https://lnkd.in/gSfDE9Ms
