Navigating a fast-paced city with an unfamiliar language, struggling with barriers to access reproductive healthcare, and finding ways to overcome poverty, Entre Nos shows us just a few of the common struggles Latine immigrants experience coming to the United States of America. After a months-long and very intentional search process, we are thrilled to have a new leader for the organization. Margarita brings personal and professional experience along with a deep commitment to Familias en Acción’s mission and values. In her new role, Margarita will be responsible for driving Familias’ mission forward by advocating for changes to institutional systems of oppression, supporting recognition of Latine/a/o communities and supporting staff in their efforts.
