We have for a long time known that the new impact sector of inclusive optical is ripe for rapid growth and it is a proud moment to see others recognise the potential of the sector. Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah shares Liberia's commitment after the recent launch of ATscale, the Global Partnership for Assistive Technology and Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc.'s report on assistive technology. Liberia's journey is a trailblazing example of the significant impact assistive technology can have on the health and wellbeing of a nation - transforming the lives of millions.  Since 2017, EYElliance has worked closely with the Liberian government to increase access to affordable, high-quality eyeglasses for children and adults. In that time, Liberia has made huge leaps towards this goal. Launching a first of its kind school eye health programme to bring eyeglasses to classrooms around the nation. And mobilizing community health workers to provide vision screenings and eyeglasses in even the most remote and rural communities.    Liberia's progress is a testament to how collaborative action and a system's level approach can bring about sustainable change.
