In its first year as part of the Frieze network, EXPO CHICAGO reaffirmed its position as a convening moment for Chicago’s creative and philanthropic communities, showcasing the depth and breadth of the city’s cultural landscape. EXPO CHICAGO is excited to announce the recipients for the 2024 Northern Trust Purchase Prize! Congratulations to the High Museum of Art, Atlanta; Milwaukee Art Museum; and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego who will each select works for their permanent collections from EXPO CHICAGO's EXPOSURE section of the 2024 fair, dedicated to emerging galleries from across the globe aged ten years or younger. In addition, we have announced two new acquisition prizes for: THE COLLECTION at Fashion Outlets of Chicago and 21c Museum Hotel Chicago. Returning this year, the Barbara Nessim Acquisition Prize and Curatorial Travel Award will donate a work of art to DePaul Art Museum and support the practice of a woman curator attending EXPO CHICAGO's Curatorial Forum.
