    It's time to review a few facts! Are Women Investors in Multifamily Properly Heard? During my almost decade-long journey in the real estate industry, I've experienced one glaring fact: the need for increased representation and amplification of women's voices. Why? ✅Diversity breeds innovation! ✅Women are committed business partners. ✅Women have investment funds to deploy. ✅Women are successful capital raisers. ✅Women use facts and figures along with emotional intelligence in creating or reviewing business plans. ✅Women are strong communicators. ✅Women are conservative underwriters. ✅Women build businesses. Consider this: Women's perspectives are often overshadowed in an industry predominantly led by men. Now, I'm not saying this to ignite a gender war, far from it. I'm championing this because the unique insights and experiences women bring to the table can influence and reshape the landscape of our industry. Think of investment strategies, investor relations, interior design, architecture accounting, finance, asset management, capital budget review, fund management, and vertical integration. I know women who have continually proven their prowess in these areas and more. With more women investing in multifamily properties than ever before, it's high time we intentionally create spaces that value their input and perspective. It's really overdue! We don't just want token representation—we want genuine influence. If you're in multifamily real estate, I challenge you to be part of the change. Encourage diversity in your general partner teams, listen to the voices that often stay unheard, don't allow toxic behavior to enter, and see the incredible transformation in your operations and investment outcomes.   • Why Do We Need Powerful Communities and Select Mentors? Is it to Leverage Relationships and Create Time Savings? My Advice: "Find select communities and mentors with a proven track record. What are you waiting for? Go ahead and join them. Give them a test run." Are you an aspiring or a seasoned real estate investor? Either way, building networks and joining select communities can bond you to like-minded individuals. So, what's next? ✅ Seek out bi-directional mentoring from select mentors. ✅ Mentors must possess a proven track record. ✅ Leverage the mentors/mentee relationship. ✅ Create time savings. Partners in Success: My real estate journey has definitely taught me the value of choosing partners wisely. I am meeting with two of mine to discuss a real estate case study video. Since I am in full process improvement mode, I'll be laying out our additional criteria to select future general partners. This way we can wisely select any future general partners on multifamily real estate properties. So where did we meet our current general partners? In the select communities we joined. We also created additional multifamily skills mastery together. Then we leveraged our mentor/mentee relationship and shaved years off our learning curve!
