Last week, the Mass General Brigham Hospital Integrated Research Organization (HIRO) had the privilege of hosting a fantastic site visit with representatives from AstraZeneca and Evinova, AZ’s newly formed wholly-owned subsidiary. It was an enlightening experience to discuss our work to streamline the clinical research study process, leverage HIRO’s unique data & analytics capabilities, and discuss further opportunities for partnership and collaboration. One of the highlights of the site visit was a meeting in virtual reality (VR) during which we discussed the use of VR and artificial intelligence in healthcare.
