About us
We believe relationships are central to everything an organization is or achieves. We guide organizations to increase their capacity for excellence and innovation by developing relationships in which every individual values themselves and each other. We are a team of experienced professionals who come from Government, Fortune 500 Companies, and Small Business. We have run our own companies, started private non-profit organizations, and worked our way into key management positions within organizations that we have served. We have pounded the pavement selling products and services and soared the skies flying worldwide missions as part of the US Military. We have functioned in organizational roles that include: President, Owner, Chief Financial Officer, Superintendent of Recruiting and Retention, Training Officer, Aircraft Commander, Training Director, Data Analyst, and Military Officer. Center for Internal Change is a division of The TEAM Approach®. We have experienced team synergy and team conflict. We have participated in quality teams and counterproductive teams, sales teams and dream teams, teams that did not know that they were teams, and teams that rose to the occasion. We have witnessed teams that played hard ball and teams that supported and encouraged each member to use their unique strengths to help the organization win. We know that there are specific elements that contribute to superior team performance and that there are other elements that contribute to costly losses in output and process. We know that positive relationships are the real key to success!

As an organization, we've worked with the DISC model for almost four decades. Why? Because it works. If you're looking to improve #workplaceculture through more effective #communicationskills look no further than Everything DiSC®. It's a tool built around a simple model. A model that can be used to help us understand ourselves and those around us a bit better. We learn to do this through adapting our communication style to the person we're communicating with. Currently, we're taking registrations for our August Certification course, which begins August 8th. During Certification we learn about the 12 distinct behavioral styles as well as how the model works and how to apply it in the workplace. What the course includes: -Expert-led Training: Live virtual sessions with experienced facilitators. -Flexible Learning: Self-paced online modules to fit your busy schedule. -Actionable Resources: A facilitator's kit and access to the powerful Catalyst platform. -Professional Recognition: Earn 20 CEUs for SHRM! PLUS our own ENHANCEMENTS to the program: -Exclusive Orientation: Get a head start on your DiSC journey. -Bonus Session: Deepen your understanding and gain Team Leader Support tools. -Proven Implementation Tools & Advice: Ensure successful DiSC application with our team's help. Our Facilitators have over 35 years experience with DISC. Sign up now, the registration link is in the comments.

Are you looking for a training solution to help people handle #conflict in healthier ways? Join us for a free session, this Wednesday at 11:00am ET, hosted by Jeannie Bril, where we'll demonstrate how Everything DiSC® Productive Conflict helps us recognize, challenge, and reframe our negative & automatic thoughts. We tend to act on these thoughts, rather than what was actually said. The Productive Conflict course teaches a sound process for noticing when this is happening and how to respond differently. This will cultivate a better #workplaceculture with less miscommunication. Demo: July 24th at 11:00am - 12:00pm ET-US Click the link below to register: https://lnkd.in/ejWBE44k

Do you recognize when you need to take a break? According to Daniel Pink, New York Time's bestselling author, it's important to take breaks throughout your day. We recently had some of our team members attend #ATD24, this past May, where they were fortunate enough to hear Dan speak. We're paraphrasing of course, but he talked about how some professionals know that they need to take breaks. They recognize when their bodies and minds are tired and not performing well, so they take regular breaks to reset and recharge. Yet, we've had this mentality for many years that breaks are a bad thing. We time them. We restrict them. We've assigned a negative connotation to them. Well, we agree with Dan that we all need to learn how to take a break. Recognize when you need a recharge and take one before you're on empty! Keep these #HealthyHabits in mind throughout your day! #SelfCareMatters #Mindfulness

#AI is revolutionizing #TalentDevelopment. Brian Miller recently contributed an article to our blog about his learnings at #ATD24 this past May. In it Brian speaks to how Talent Development organizations and L&D teams are using AI in their training to create dynamic learning environments and to analyze learner retention. AI that can work in conjunction with the Kirkpatrick Model to gauge learner retention by analyzing their answers and engagement? Yep. It's here. How well a manager listens affects the psychological safety of employees. Recent research has shown how well someone listens to us affects our self-awareness and mental clarity. Read the research on our blog. https://ow.ly/IJoe50Sk90z #listening #selfawareness #pyschologicalsafety

Researchers have published a study that has found a surprising way to help improve self-awareness, psychological safety, and mental clarity. Have a conversation with a good listener. The researchers found that good listening reduces social anxiety, creates a safe space for self-exploration, and increases our desire to share openly. This results in clearer thinking and mental clarity. Managers and leaders who are poor listeners prevent employees from better understanding their thoughts and beliefs.
