What a terrific IFT First Annual Event and Expo! The future of food was on full display in the halls of McCormick Place. Here are our key takeaways: - A great way to show off your food science chops is with samples. There were plenty to try this year—from plant-based meats to protein-packed snacks and caffeine-enhanced drinks. Some of our favorites included the cinnamon rolls from Bunge and the cheddar cheese puffs from Ardent Mills. - Some of the best booths put their product solutions front and center.
