Great News! Today Erickson-Hall completed a major milestone for the Los Alamitos High School Gymnasium Project. The first set of concrete panels for the new gymnasium building were lifted into place. The Los Alamitos High School Gymnasium Project for the Los Alamitos Unified School District includes the construction of a new 33,362 SF gymnasium building that incorporates a 3-court gym with home and visitor team bleachers, a concession room, team rooms, restrooms, a weight room with outdoor fitness areas, along with exterior hardscape improvements. The project is scheduled to be completed in July of 2025. Thank you to the Los Alamitos Unified School District Board of Education along with District personnel for joining us to celebrate this exciting milestone in the project.

It was a GREAT day at the San Diego County Fair this past weekend. Erickson-Hall proudly sponsored North County Fire Protection’s participation in the 32nd Annual Fire and Safety Expo & Fire Demolition Derby hosted at Del Mar Arena. Proceeds from the derby support the Burn Institute whose mission is to educate and inspire communities to reduce burn injuries and empower those affected by burn trauma. With locations in San Diego and Imperial County, the Burn Institute has been protecting and empowering communities since 1972. The Demolition Derby is by far the Burn Institute’s most popular event among the fire service! Fire departments from across San Diego County modify clunkers to smash head-to-head with fellow departments. The event consists of three initial heats, two last-chance qualifying heats and then a final round where the last car standing is crowned the champ! In addition to building their cars, each team raises money for the Burn Institute through car sponsorship. The Erickson-Hall team was one of many proud sponsors of derby car #11 for the North County Fire Protection District. 14 fire protection teams participated in the event from across the county. In total $92,000 was raised in direct support of the Burn Institute. $25,000 of which was a result of fundraising through North County Fire Protection. Thank you to the North County Fire Protection District for allowing Erickson-Hall to participate in this dynamic event supporting burn survivor services, fire safety, and burn protection for all.
