Great project and partnership to protect public safety and private property!
Recent weather events have tested the existing infrastructure in the Franklin Mountains of El Paso. Excessive rain has caused flood damage, excessive washing out, culverts clogged by debris and silt, and obstructed concrete channels. The Arroyo 1 Dam Improvement Project on the west side of the mountains will reduce the amount of rock and silt that accumulates in the Bear Ridge Channel. The proposed improvements, with Parkhill serving as Engineer and Construction Manager, will slow the speed of water as it drains off the mountain and reduce the amount of maintenance necessary long-term. And what a view for a construction site! El Paso Water Tim Solberg, PE #BuildingCommunity #ConstructionManagement #ConstructionSite
