On June 27th, EnviroVoters Inland Empire Regional Organizer, Ciara Thrower, hosted our Inland Empire Inflation Reduction Act Accelerator! This was a months long effort with the partnership of many local organizations including: Inland Empire Growth and Economic Opportunity, The Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development, CivicWell and The Strategic Growth Council. With 40 diverse participants from across the region, we discussed the importance of the Inland Empire receiving their fair share of federal funding to enhance our infrastructure and facilitate a Just Transition from extractive economic models to regeneration.
