💪 Our work gets recognized. And how we do it does, too. diginomica highlighted how our transportation manager Eric Thiessen shakes up the game, managing drivers across multiple states. He’s made our fleet logistics a seamless operation with the help of Samsara. 🚛 Eric’s approach isn’t just about convenience. It’s about empowering our drivers, giving them a sense of ownership and making them better at what they do. Today, they’re a vital part of the process, striving to be the best. We’re committed to #ConstructionSafety. It’s what we call #EverySecondSafely. Whether it’s wearing PPE, staying hydrated or following jobsite protocols, our employee-owners’ safety is a top priority and a huge part of our #SafetyCulture. 💪 🎥 Listen in to what Safety Manager Ethan Hess has to say.

👷 We build futures by bridging a connection between #HeavyConstruction and #Teachers. It’s why we hosted teachers at the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry's program in Columbia, Missouri — #ShowMeCareers. With support from the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, we showcased career opportunities across the trades to equip teachers with knowledge to guide students toward promising careers. Throughout the day, we explored hands-on experiences and our employee-owners shared why students should consider this rewarding industry. We also heard an inspiring story from our own Chad Anderson-Gross and his advancement from CDL novice to assistant instructor. 🚧 Here’s to building futures, one student at a time!

Have you heard the big news? We’re joining forces with Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) on section two of the South Lawrence Trafficway! ⏪ Let’s rewind a bit… If you’ve been here a while, you’ll remember we completed the first leg in 2016. Back then, it was the largest single project in #Kansas history! Our crews crushed it back then and now we’re ready for round ✌️. Our team is excited to be back in #Lawrence this fall. 🦺 This week, we're highlighting the importance of #ConstructionSafety by hosting stand-downs to pause and refocus during the long, hot days of summer. #EverySecondSafely is interwoven with our culture and values — it’s how we get things done. And it takes all of us to practice safety on and off the jobsite to ensure we return home safely daily.

The Arizona Department of Transportation's I-17 #DesignBidBuild pavement preservation project was completed on schedule in Phoenix last September 2023. And they awarded our employee-owners’ work for it with the 2023 Arizona Transportation Partnering Excellence Award. 🤝 Since 1978, I-17 served as the spine of Arizona’s capital, transporting nearly 2M residents across the area. As a main highway to the interstate system, years of heavy traffic caused sections of the rubber asphalt surface to deteriorate. Then, we stepped in. Our employee-owners worked around the clock for this diamond grinding project and created a smoother, safer route for Phoenix drivers, delivering 84 lane miles of rehabilitated concrete roadway on schedule and without incidents. Congratulations to each of our employee-owners for their commitment and partnership. We couldn’t have done it without you. 🏆 Learn more about our award-winning impact in Arizona. https://bit.ly/3RSo7l9

🚲 The biking community is a major driver in #NorthwestArkansas’ development, according to our assistant vice president, Jason Eldredge, who recently led a great discussion for Contractors, Closers & Connections (CCC) of Northwest Arkansas with Specialized Bicycle Components’ brand developer, Paul McClain, and Heartland Forward’s economist, Jonas Crews. Jason highlighted the success of Northwest Arkansas, the demand for housing and how bike-friendly amenities will continue to draw more growth. Looking forward to the next event, and to helping transform the landscape of #Infrastructure, #CommercialRealEstate and #InvestorSuccess. 🙌
