Today, we come together to celebrate the birth of our nation and the values that unite us as Americans. We believe in the power of unity, diversity, and the strength of women's voices in shaping a brighter future for all. As we commemorate this Independence Day, let's honor the courage, resilience, and contributions of women from all walks of life who have played pivotal roles in our country's history. From the suffragettes who fought for our right to vote to the leaders making strides in every field today, women's impact is undeniable. Let’s celebrate this day with pride, gratitude, and a shared vision of a future where every woman's voice is heard and valued. Happy Independence Day, and may your celebrations be filled with joy, reflection, and inspiration! #4thOfJuly #IndependenceDay #WomenEmpowerment #UnityInDiversity #StrongerTogether #BipartisanWomen #CelebrateWomen

Julie Stokes, our President and CEO, had the incredible opportunity to represent Ellevate Louisiana at the Louisiana State Capitol as she witnessed Governor Landry's signing of SB293. This groundbreaking bill emphasizes the importance of coordination among a variety of agencies by establishing that the Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC) coordinates the delivery of business workforce solutions through various workforce and educational entities of the state. This is a significant step towards enhancing workforce development and educational collaboration in Louisiana. #EllevateLA #LouisianaStateCapitol #WorkforceDevelopment #SB293 #GovernorLandry #JulieStokes #MakingHistory

It was such an honor to be recognized by Jennifer Van Vrancken, one of our amazing #JeffersonParish Councilmembers-at-Large whom I greatly admire, and the rest of the #CityCouncil today. It was incredibly humbling and meant more than I can say. I have always felt called to serve. The vast majority of what I do is behind the scenes, more often than not without recognition or pay, which I guess makes me a bit of an anomaly in the political “industry.” 😄 But I view my work as one of the greatest forms of public service, and as anyone who knows me knows, I don’t do it for praise, power, or payouts. That’s a post for another day. 😊 It has been my personal mission to fix the system and make this world a little better than I found it. Part of that starts with getting more women and young leaders in decision-making positions, improving civic engagement and citizen education, restoring transparency and trust from our government to the people, fostering greater civility and respect in our political discourse, and promoting pragmatic policy solutions to our biggest problems. To see the proclamation touch on so many important milestones, moments, and missions in my life made this even more meaningful. I’m incredibly grateful and even more inspired to do more, serve more, and be more. I cannot thank Jenn, Scott, Cynthia, and the rest of the incredible City Council for this high honor. As I said in my impromptu remarks today, it feels good to live in a parish where the government actually works… and works for the people. And it just cements my decision almost 9 years ago to build my business Shoreline Strategies LLC right here on our shores. #leadership #service #politics #policy #womensupportingwomen American Association of Political Consultants #AAPC40U40 #40Under40 Ellevate Louisiana Scott Walker Jefferson Parish Government Clay Tufts #shorelinestrategies #supportsmallbusiness #LouisianaStrong

Julie Stokes, our President & CEO, recently addressed the Senate Finance committee in support of maintaining funding for early childhood education. The proposed cuts would have significant and long-term negative effects on our children, families, and community. Early childhood education is crucial for our children's growth and success, and it's essential that we keep advocating for funding to support the development of our youngest learners! #EllevateLA #HB! #ECEFunding
