🌞 Braving the sweltering late June heat, volunteers from the International Union of Elevator Constructors (IUEC) Local 21 showed their commitment to community service by rebuilding a fishing pier at the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center. Despite the scorching 105-degree heat index, the dedicated #elevatormechanics worked tirelessly to repair the pier, ensuring it remains a safe and accessible spot for anglers of all ages. The pier welcomes visitors from across the country, providing a recreational space for countless families and school groups. 🤝 IUEC Local 21's involvement in this project is part of their ongoing volunteer efforts through the Union Sportsmen's Alliance’s Work Boots on the Ground program.
