Encouraging news ➡️ Recently, Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks signed a memo to initiate changes in the Department of Defense’s classification policy for space programs. This is a great move that will help us adapt to the modern space era, supporting our allies while staving off adversaries. "In order to effectively coordinate military operations across Allied forces, however, the DOD needs to be able to communicate with its international partners." It's also imperative to find a balance between keeping information classified while also making some information known to show the advanced systems that we're developing. Deterrence is only effective if an adversary "knows" that capabilities and will to employ them exist.
