We earned eight NACo awards, including a "Best in Category" for a transparency dashboard tracking ARPA, American Rescue Plan Act, funds!! 🌟Our other awards include: - Public Health for a community viability project - Department of Human Services for a subsidized employment program - Parks for their Visually Impaired Person (VIP) Trail and Kite Festival - And the Department of Public Works (DPW), winning three awards! One is their Road Safety Plan; the second is Workforce Development, which establishes clear career progression and individual development plans for DPW employees; and their third award, the DPW Connects Program, a program with local schools to encourage young graduates to enter skilled labor careers.
