As we adopt more automated systems, it's crucial to make sure these technologies do not unintentionally disadvantage any group of students. #ETSResearchers Mo Zhang and Matthew Johnson's latest study, featured in The The Hechinger Report, highlights the potential biases in AI systems that can impact Asian American students. Applying a racial equity lens in AI development and diversifying AI development teams are necessary to disrupt biases, ensure fairness and maximize AI's educational benefit. #EthicalAI #EquityInEducation #AI #ETS #Impact
