Amanda Deseure of EGA Canada is taking us along with her on her travels! We have a large agenda ahead of us, so be sure to pack appropriately.   We are traveling to Abu Dhabi, UAE; Dubai, UAE; Toronto, Canada; EGA’s HQ in Washington, D.C.; and Las Vegas, Nevada.   What did Amanda do while traveling for EGA?   “While in the UAE, I supported the digital activations and strategy for COP28. While the majority of our days were buckling down on client deliverables, we did catch an Edelman team dinner cruise in Dubai. While in Abu Dhabi, I was able to also tour the Grand Mosque which was a breathtaking experience. While in Las Vegas for a world class high-tech conference with our client, we also caught some evening shows including the Spice Wannabe Tribute Band, and Cirque du Soleil.”   Amanda’s favorite place to visit was the UAE. “The people and climate! We were there during Canadian winter which was a beautiful break. But, no matter where I travel, the highlight is having the opportunity to get to know the extraordinary people within the Edelman and EGA networks."

Edelman & DJE FAM showed up in full force with colleagues from Edible, Inc, a Daniel J. Edelman Holdings Company, and Edelman Global Advisory at Chicago's IFT FIRST conference, where food scientists, nutritionists, policy makers and the likes, geek out over the future of food in its many, many forms. We're there to share some of the reality of the consumer and policy landscapes, and how trust needs to be built in cpg strategy up from the board rooms all the way to the shopping baskets. We hope we can guide some of the more critical conversations that could have long term impact on the entire food supply chain. Day 1 takeaway: food scientists need to join us when we talk to policy makers! You can't regulate the food business if you don't talk to the people that innovate in it! Bonus takeaway: Adelaide Feuer (Geik), RD can moderate the hell of a panel full of phds 💅 on the touchy subject of mistrust and anxiety! I feel much better having listened to her wisdom. Thanks also to Gennifer Horowitz for being such a charming and efficient partner in crime!
