Ladies in Logistics is an industry-leading women’s network, founded by Eastdil Secured’s Alison Abbey. The network fosters relationships among women working in logistics real estate. In the last year, Ladies in Logistics has held seven events in five countries, with over 150 women participating. This spring, strong and diverse talent was showcased at the "State of the European Logistics Market" event, held at Hines’ Grainhouse headquarters in London. Influential women and dealmakers discussed strategies that will shape the logistics sector as the next market cycle unfolds, and deepened connections that will propel individual careers and the industry at large. Eastdil Secured is pleased to announce the first and partial closing of Project Hatteras on behalf of Healthcare Realty. The newly formed strategic Joint Venture with KKR will jointly own and invest in high quality medical outpatient buildings. Under the terms of the agreement, Healthcare Realty will contribute 12 of its existing properties to seed the JV, making this the largest pure play medical outpatient strategic partnership in 2024. Following a successful Veterans Day giving campaign last fall, Eastdil Secured-sponsored Canine Companions® service dog Kiva was successfully matched last week with Buddy, a United States Air Force Veteran. The sponsorship covers everything the team will need, from training to all follow up services for the lifetime of the partnership. During Buddy and Kiva’s graduation ceremony, our very own Steve Hagy, an Analyst at Eastdil Secured who is also a Veteran, presented Buddy with a challenge coin. This coin, a token of recognition and appreciation within the military community, was given in honor of Buddy's own lifelong commitment to serving the Veteran community.
