About us
Dreams for Schools (DFS) was founded in 2013, with the vision to make science, technology, engineering, and math (STEAM) education approachable and accessible for all. Dreams for Schools advances education equity by bridging gaps in STEAM education, with an emphasis on computer science (CS), by working with a range of community stakeholders from K-12 students, educators, schools, districts, as well as higher education students to provide educational programs that would not otherwise be available to our clients. DFS' primary programs include: 1. STEAM Curriculum Development 2. K-12 STEAM Classes 3. Job Opportunities for STEAM Higher Ed Students 4. Professional Development for Educators 5. Scholarships for K-12 students in DFS Classes and STEAM Higher Ed Students working as DFS instructors 6. Community Outreach & STEAM Events

***EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT*** This morning, the Orange County Paralegal Association and its members participated in a PRO BONO (Saturday, May 18, 2024) event benefiting Dreams for Schools. OCPA members came together in STEAM kit building, assembling materials and kits, for the engineering and tech curriculums at Dreams for Schools in City of Santa Ana. OCPA members, played a pivotal role in assembling these hands-on learning tools, fostering a love for discovery and innovation in children. OCPA members helped to inspire young minds in STEM fields. Special thanks to Nithin Jilla in providing the opportunity for OCPA members to give back to our wonderful community. 2024 OCPA Pro Bono Coordinator Lorena L. Hughes helped put this marvelous event together. This event was made possible through our amazing members: Izabella Cruz Cynthia Zhuang, MBA Nicoletta Bozhilova Johnny Cheng Wendy Cifuentes (2024 OCPA Secretary) OCPA is partnering with Dreams for Schools, a non-profit organization that oversees programs and initiatives that contribute to educating youth about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math fields. Dreams for Schools advances equity by bridging gaps in STEAM education by working with a range of community stakeholders from K-12 students, educators, schools, districts, as well as higher education students to provide educational programs that would not otherwise be available to students.
