Could not be prouder to see our iconic Terry Love getting the recognition he deserves for the joy & energy he brings to the San Diego Pride Parade — and to Dr. Bronner's — each year!! 🏳️🌈 Terry, better known as T-Love, is a member of our incredible Magic Foam Experience department. He captured the spirit of this team perfectly when he said, "Whenever [Dr. Bronner's] needs to give a gift to the community, they send us." Huge thank you to San Diego Community Newspaper Group for highlighting Terry as one of their favorite performers in the Pride Parade! Dr. Bronner's will be attending the parade for the 12th year in a row — and if you want to see T-Love in action, just look for our rainbow firetruck & foam-covered friends this Saturday, 7/20 — you won't miss us. 😉 The parade begins at the Hillcrest Pride Flag at University Ave. and Normal St., proceeds west on University Ave., turns south on 6th Ave., turns left onto Balboa Dr. and ends at Quince Dr. See you there!

The Dr. Bronner's label was written first, before there was a product to put it on. ⁣ ⁣⁣ Transformed by the tragedy of losing both his parents in the Holocaust — and deeply alarmed by the rise of the nuclear age — Dr. Emanuel Bronner was convinced the world was on the brink of destruction.⁣ ⁣ So he devoted himself entirely to writing & sharing a peace plan he referred to as the "Moral ABC."⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ In it, he emphatically & poetically urged the world to unite as one. "All-One!"⁣ ⁣ He drew inspiration from various religious & historical figures, as well as the stars & the cosmos, to emphasize the point that — despite our ethnic, religious and national differences — there is more about us that is the same and connects us to each other. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ "We are All One or None!" he'd exclaim from a soapbox in Los Angeles, while passing out his family's peppermint castile soap on the side.⁣ ⁣ However, when he realized people were more interested in the soap than absorbing the All-One message, he began printing the message in tiny script directly on the label. We are sad to share the passing of bar soap legend & soulful historian, Luis Spitz. 🌈 🧼 Luis was the world's foremost authority in bar soap manufacturing, and even connected Dr. Bronner's with Eco Soap Bank — a nonprofit that recycles & distributes bar soap into bars for people who need them in the Global South. Luis was also a Holocaust survivor, and had the most unbelievable collection of soap poster art & advertisements from the 1800s & onwards — which is now housed in a museum in Colombia. Our CEO, David Bronner, hopes to visit & pay his respects in the next few years. Mega love & gratitude to Luis for all he taught us, and shared with the world! ❤️
