👩🏻🦯 Do you go blind into investor meetings? (or armed with intelligence 🧲) If you send out your deck as a PDF you are blind! You have no intelligence on what happens after. Have they read it, or not? How interested are they? What is a good time to follow up? You will walk blindly into a meeting, if you get a meeting at all. And I know most founders do this... 🤷🏻♂️ I have definitely been there myself! But, there is a much better way! 😊 And that increases your chances of finding the right investor and succeeding with your funding round - quite dramatically I would say! I have been a battle-hardened serial entrepreneur for 22 years. 😊 Paying some key insights forward to other founders from meeting thousands of investors. (In one startup in 2016 I had 637 investors on my list...) Knowing who is in front of you and how prepared they are, or not prepared, makes you able to change your pitch to your audience. Yes, it does matter a lot if they have spent 45 seconds on the deck, or 5 minutes. Or if they have seen the deck once, multiple, or 20 times..! Or if they passed the deck to a teammate or an expert. Or knowing what slides they spent the most time on, and which they skipped. With pdf you know NOTHING about all of this. With Dropbox DocSend you do..! 😊 See some of my BIG insights from using this tool in the last years in the carousel. You will probably be quite surprised, and see how invaluable this tool actually is! By leveraging this tool, you not only gauge investor interest but also fine-tune your approach and learn a lot on the way. It's an absolute game-changer. Period. 😊
