Fun times yesterday at Modern Sales Pros Live on a 🛳️ boat. Enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people in the sales community. So many interesting conversations throughout the day. My mouth hurts from talking so much. I did a panel on how to create messaging that actually drives pipeline with Brandy & Hannah. We talked about the importance of using your buyer's language to craft your messaging, how LinkedIn is one of the best channels to get in front of your prospects, and why Gong is such an awesome tool to help coach your sales reps. Thanks to Peter, Gina, & Eduardo for putting on such an awesome event! 🙌

A smooth customer onboarding experience is your best shot at making customers happy (and winning renewals). But most teams manage onboarding with messy spreadsheets or clunky project management tools that were built for internal collaboration—not working with customers. That's one of the reasons why I'm building Dock. With Dock, you can create personalized customer onboarding hubs in just a few clicks. Dock gives your customers a personalized guide to being successful with your product, and keeps you aligned on next steps. I'm hosting a virtual event next Tuesday where we'll talk about all things customer onboarding and how to get started with Dock. Would love to see you there 😀 RSVP to get the invite (or the recording) https://lnkd.in/gXD39Smv Drop any questions in the comments. I'll answer your questions live on the call

One of my greatest challenges as a sales rep: The mountain of information I share with prospects during the sales cycle. - Information easily gets lost in email threads. - Buyers lose time gathering the pieces. - Deals slip into next month/quarter. Dock's Digital Sales Room has been a life saver for me. It helps me keep everything in one place: - Sales training proposal - Mutual action plan & timeline - Executive summary & business case - Demos, case studies, testimonials, pricing Plus I get all the analytics on how my prospects engage with the content. → Faster sales cycles, higher win rates. To me, using a Digital Sales Room is table stakes in 2024. Are you using Digital Sales Rooms? PS: Free Dock trial👇👇👇

I asked Devin Bramhall how startups should get started with content marketing. She said they shouldn't. - This was one of my favorite episodes of #GrowandTell to record. Devin told the unfiltered story of her time as CEO of Animalz — a B2B content marketing agency for companies like Google, Amazon, Slack, Facebook, GoDaddy, and Lattice (I was a happy customer back in the day). We talked about how the agency was able to scale to over $11.5M in revenue and 130 employees at its peak. Then we spent the back half of the episode talking about how startups and founders should think about content marketing in 2024. Spoiler: Devin thinks it's time to throw out the old playbooks. - You can watch or listen to the episode here: https://lnkd.in/g2KPBQEi

I love shipping small updates to Dock. It's the little things that make a smooth product experience. One of those recent features was improving our page navigation by adding a page highlight bar and more contrast between the page navigation tabs. The goal was to make it more clear what page you're on and how to navigate between pages.

The Buyer Enablement Revolution (and why sales deal rooms are the answer). Join us for our next webinar on June 25, 2024! 👀 The selling environment has changed. Only 5% of a buyer’s time is spent talking to a single rep/company—most buying conversations happen internally behind closed doors. The best way to enable deals is to focus on the buyer’s experience. Join Alex Kracov, CEO & Co-Founder of Dock as we break down the shift from sales to buyer enablement. The webinar will cover: 💡A brief history of sales enablement tools. 💡Why buyers buy and how the selling environment has changed. 💡Why sales deal rooms are a win for buyers, sellers, and enablement teams. Then, stick around for a roundtable discussion between our co-founder Matt Schalsey and Zach Jacobson (Revenue Enablement Specialist at Jamf). They’ll answer everything you need to know about how enablement teams are already using sales deal rooms to provide a standout buyer experience. One of the trickiest parts of customer onboarding is managing all the different customer personas. I've seen it both at Lattice and Dock - there are normally three customer personas involved with any major implementation: 1. End users 2. Managers/admins 3. Execs/buyers And they all want different things out of your product. On this week's #GrowandTell, I asked Eloise Salisbury how she thinks about running implementation for all of these personas at once. Eloise was VP of Customer Success at Iterable and is now the CCO at AutogenAI — the UK's biggest generative AI company. I loved her advice around the "triple metric": - Identify the key KPIs for each persona - Figure out how each KPI rolls up to the next level - Speak to those metrics at every key touchpoint We also talked about how to build mid-market and enterprise CS teams, what makes an ideal CS/sales relationship, and how she's approaching the first 90 days at AutogenAI. Definitely check out the episode   https://lnkd.in/g-QyYxkh
