This may sound crazy, but being a diver made me think about how to stem the rise of our oceans and preserve some of our island communities that we love. In the 1950's we did a national highway system that connected our country, made jobs and helped with national security. What if we did the same thing by developing a national network of solar, wind and water turbine powered desalinization plants along our sea coastlines that pumped fresh water inland through a distribution network sort of like the highway system. creating lakes and reservoirs where needed. Fresh water from the sea to cure many of our water shortage issues.....Thoughts? #solar #WindPower #drought #wildfire #watershortage #hope
