Detroit Exposure

DetroitExposure.com is the brainchild of 2 Detroit photographers, Christos Schizas and Joshua Hanford who are on a mission…a mission from God…No, not really from God, but we’re pretty confident he’d be proud of us. Anyway, back to our mission. We are setting out to do what no other event photography companies in Detroit have been able to do… Capture quality photographs. The difference between “us” and “them” is attitude mostly. Many of the event photographers in Detroit, simply are “dispatched” to a location to take some photos. Typically they couldn’t care less about the event itself, or the people there. We can’t really blame them, they are out to do a job, and that’s all. They get the work done, and leave as soon as possible. Detroit Exposure on the other hand takes full advantage of what any event has to offer. We revel in the art, the music, the people. We take pride in our ability to capture the atmosphere everyone remembers, instead of overexposed, always boring, posed photographs. Just like you, we are out to have a good time. It always helps that we love to network, meet new people and make new friends. We are never without a friend or fifteen, at every event we attend. Now to the team. Currently there are three of us working here at Detroit Exposure. Christos Schizas of detroitarist.org and Joshua Hanford of GrimIndustries.com, the founders of DE, and our new addition John Bigtacion -aka- JohnB. The three of us are dedicated to bringing you the best in event photography and photo journalism.
