The Department of Transformation and Shared Services (TSS) was established in 2019 following the passage of Act 910 for the purpose of creating a more efficient government through epic service delivery and collaboration across state government. The Department is comprised of the Office of the Secretary, the Arkansas Geographic Information Systems Office, the Division of Building Authority, the Division of Information Systems, the Employee Benefits Division, the Office of Personnel Management, and the Office of State Procurement.

The July Arkansas Legislative Council (ALC) Review meeting, previously scheduled for Tuesday, July 16th, has been canceled. A meeting for imminent need contracts will be scheduled sometime in July. All imminent need contracts must be submitted into the PCS/TGS portal by 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 17th, to be reviewed in July. All agencies should contact their liaison with the Governor’s office to confirm all imminent need contracts. The August ALC Review meeting will be held on Monday, August 19th, at 1:30, and the contract submission deadline is Friday, August 2nd.

Last week, DTP members held key discussions that included the Arkansas Data-Driven Workforce Strategy, aimed at leveraging data to boost workforce development.
