💙PARTNER EVENT💙 Capstone Centerra Senior Living, a 2024 Dementia Together Partner, will be a hosting a community event to provide dementia education, awareness and support to our Northern Colorado community walking the dementia journey. 🎬 Join us for a showing of “Finding a Way to Contented Dementia”, a film follows the stories of 6 care partners sharing their experiences of looking after a family member with dementia. They explain how using the SPECAL method helped them to understand dementia and how they could change their own behavior to make an enormous, positive difference in their loved ones’ lives. 🍿A Q&A will be held following the film and snacks will be available for purchase, with all proceeds benefitting Dementia Together. Thank you Clean Eatz for your dedication to serve those walking the dementia journey! Dementia Together’s Monthly Meal Drops were created as a way to relieve our participants of having to make a meal and provide the reminder that no one has to walk the dementia journey alone. Every month, Dementia Together partners with a local restaurant in Northern Colorado to purchase meals and our gracious volunteers help deliver these meals door-to-door to our participants, free of charge.💙 Keep an eye out for next month’s meal drop!
