"As You Have Received, Also Give” With Karnea just around the corner for over 500 members of Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity, our devoted alumni have the opportunity to show their support of chapter delegates by creating a “Commendation” in their honor. You can leave a message to root them on, share your personal Karnea/chapter experience, or offer the opportunity to connect with an alumnus. Upon their arrival in Cleveland, the attendees will receive a limited-edition button featuring the words “As you have received, also give," along with the note you left for them. With your gift, you honor a Delt and benefit the Delta Tau Delta Educational Foundation’s Annual DeltFund, which allows chapter members to participate in great educational opportunities and experiences such as this year’s Karnea. Use the link below to find your chapter's delegates and create your commendation: https://lnkd.in/gRYxxtZ4 Let's get ready to rock in Cleveland!

  • We are excited to share that Jeff Sinelli (Michigan State, 1990), Founder, Chief Vibe Officer, and Superpreneur of Sinelli Concepts International Inc., will be joining us at Karnea for a keynote address! Jeff often says, "Anything is Possible." That includes creating iconic brands like Which Wich? Superior Sandwiches, Genghis Grill, Paciugo Gelato Caffé, Birdguesa, Earth Burger, VibeFlow, and Supernova Coffee. Gourmet named Sinelli one of The Top 25 American Food Entrepreneurs, an honor he shares with Howard Schultz, Martha Stewart, and Emeril Lagasse, among other household names. The publication also referred to Which Wich as "the funniest lunch in the land." Jeff's keynote will leave you hungry for more and is slated for 11:30 a.m. EST on Saturday, August 3rd, during the Alumni Success & Awards Luncheon. • We are excited to share that Steve Bunin (Syracuse, 1996) will be one of our keynote speakers at Karnea in Cleveland! Steve is a five-time Emmy winner and 16-time Emmy nominee. He’ll share his unparalleled path from watching ESPN at the Gamma Omicron shelter at Syracuse University to becoming an ESPN Anchor. The journey to the Worldwide Leader in Sports took him across the country—13 times in seven years. A decade after leaving ESPN, he took a leap of faith to leave TV, inspired partly by his fraternity brothers and leaning on them for support. His inspiring story proves that brotherhood doesn’t end when you graduate. Steve's keynote is slated for 8:30 a.m. EST on Friday, August 2nd, and is titled "Can you have more than one dream Job? A Delt’s rise to ESPN, his big pivot, and how his brothers helped all along the way." • We are thrilled to share that the Delta Tau Delta Theta Kappa chapter at the University of Nebraska—Kearney has received the North American Interfraternity Conference award for Chapter of Distinction.🎉 In addition, one of their very own members, recent 2024 graduate and now Delta Tau Delta chapter consultant Joseph Hiatt, received the Undergraduate Award of Distinction. Congratulations to all—we are so proud to have you represent Delt! The North American Interfraternity Conference annually recognizes excellence in the fraternal experience by conferring Awards of Distinction to individuals and groups who exemplify leadership, service and fraternal values. These honors play a significant role in the advancement of the NIC mission and vision, as well as the industry as a whole. Recognizing the value and impact of individual and group efforts on college/university campuses and within interfraternal organizations conveys the importance of innovation, courage and commitment to a positive fraternal experience. • Last week, our 2024-2025 consultant group kicked off training in Indianapolis! 🎉 They had the opportunity to meet most enterprise staff members as the week doubled as our summer in-office-week, where our remote staff joins those who work in-office at Fishers-Nichols Memorial Headquarters. The consultants ended their week with “Indy Day,” where they had the chance to visit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, tour Sigma Delta Tau headquarters, learn about the three areas of government at the Indiana State House, and tested their sports knowledge at the NCAA Hall of Fame. We are excited to kick off week two of training and to spend the summer with this great group!🌟
