We are excited to share that Steve Bunin (Syracuse, 1996) will be one of our keynote speakers at Karnea in Cleveland! Steve is a five-time Emmy winner and 16-time Emmy nominee. He’ll share his unparalleled path from watching ESPN at the Gamma Omicron shelter at Syracuse University to becoming an ESPN Anchor. The journey to the Worldwide Leader in Sports took him across the country—13 times in seven years. A decade after leaving ESPN, he took a leap of faith to leave TV, inspired partly by his fraternity brothers and leaning on them for support. His inspiring story proves that brotherhood doesn’t end when you graduate. Steve's keynote is slated for 8:30 a.m. EST on Friday, August 2nd, and is titled "Can you have more than one dream Job? A Delt’s rise to ESPN, his big pivot, and how his brothers helped all along the way." We are thrilled to share that the Delta Tau Delta Theta Kappa chapter at the University of Nebraska—Kearney has received the North American Interfraternity Conference award for Chapter of Distinction.🎉 In addition, one of their very own members, recent 2024 graduate and now Delta Tau Delta chapter consultant Joseph Hiatt, received the Undergraduate Award of Distinction. Congratulations to all—we are so proud to have you represent Delt! The North American Interfraternity Conference annually recognizes excellence in the fraternal experience by conferring Awards of Distinction to individuals and groups who exemplify leadership, service and fraternal values. These honors play a significant role in the advancement of the NIC mission and vision, as well as the industry as a whole. Recognizing the value and impact of individual and group efforts on college/university campuses and within interfraternal organizations conveys the importance of innovation, courage and commitment to a positive fraternal experience. Another week of consultant (XX) training is in the books! Last week, former President of the Delta Tau Delta Educational Foundation, Ken File (Kansas State, 1981), dropped by Fishers Nichols Memorial Headquarters and spent some time with the consultant class. We're so thankful for Ken's time and can't wait to share what this group is up to this week! 😊

Last week, our 2024-2025 consultant group kicked off training in Indianapolis! 🎉 They had the opportunity to meet most enterprise staff members as the week doubled as our summer in-office-week, where our remote staff joins those who work in-office at Fishers-Nichols Memorial Headquarters. The consultants ended their week with “Indy Day,” where they had the chance to visit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, tour Sigma Delta Tau headquarters, learn about the three areas of government at the Indiana State House, and tested their sports knowledge at the NCAA Hall of Fame. We are excited to kick off week two of training and to spend the summer with this great group!🌟

Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity & Delta Tau Delta Educational Foundation are pleased to share our 2024-2027 Strategic Plan. Through this plan, it is our aspiration to transform the Fraternity by becoming one of the top three chapters on every campus. Then, we will expand the influence of our Mission by building an unequaled lifelong membership model that can be best broken down into these three pillars of focus: - First Among Equals - Lifelong Experience - Bridge to The Future We will share more about these pillars in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, you can find the Strategic Plan in its entirety by visiting the link below.
