Yesterday was World Food Safety Day 2024! Our Deli Star Corporation Quality Team shared Facts and Snacks from around the world to Celebr8 and Educ8. 🌎 Did you know that poor food hygiene practices are the leading cause of food poisoning? That's just one of the reasons why we're so dedicated to food safety- we are a HACCP, SQF 9.0, USDA and FDA certified facility. ⭐

Last week was one for the books at Deli Star! --> We brought our families together to celebrate our second annual "Bring a Child to Work Day." From our youngest stars to our CEO, everyone was invited to join in on the fun. --> We enjoyed homemade chili, featuring Deli Star chicken, crafted by our very own, Michelle Claravall and Jackie Schmollinger. --> Children tested their food knowledge at the "Price is Right" station with Chelsea Hill and "Guess that Spice" with Justin Siegel. --> Employees volunteered with their families, and packed nearly 50 family meal kits that we delivered to Operation Food Search this week. --> We ran production to share our protein for distribution within St. Louis Area Foodbank partner agencies.
