Did you know that in the UK, some AEDs are located in old phone booths? Phone booths have been an iconic symbol of the UK since 1936, but as technology evolved, the need for public phones declined. In July we're celebrating our initiatives internationally! Our AEDs can be found across the globe and speak 39 languages!😮This month, we plan to highlight some of our international partnerships and efforts worldwide. We're focused on creating a safer world!

We started this month with AED donations for CPR & AED awareness week and now we're closing it out highlighting 2 more! As part of our corporate social responsibility program, EVERY employee at Defibtech can donate one AED per year to a nonprofit organization with which they are involved. Birch Bidwell and Lisa Del Vecchio-Adamson, shown here, decided to make donations to the North Haven Police Department & North Haven High School. So glad to see these organizations with their new AEDs.

Police officers are often the first on the scene of an emergency. But some of them aren't equipped with AEDs. Get to know them: Gavin is a verification and validation intern in R&D. He's majoring in mechanical engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology. William is an information systems intern. He is majoring in computer science with a minor in psychology at Case Western University. Jessica is a marketing intern. She is studying marketing at High Point University. Julia is a R&D intern. She is majoring in aerospace engineering at the University of Maryland. Connor is also an information systems intern. He is majoring in computer science with a minor in data science at the University of British Columbia.
