Robin Radar and Dedrone collaborate to address the surge in unauthorised drone flights🤝🛡️ Managing drone threats effectively requires a solution that combines advanced detection and tracking systems. Robin Radar, a specialist in small object detection, and Dedrone, the global leader in airspace security, have partnered to address these evolving security challenges. Robin CCO, Marcel Verdonk said: “The benefits of combining our market-leading IRIS 3D radar with Dedrone’s command and control (C2) solution and integration capabilities are tremendous." Ben Wenger, CRO of Dedrone, adds: “By leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning, Dedrone provides continuous, autonomous drone interrogation and verification. Our ability to integrate and fuse various sensors, including radars from Robin, significantly boosts our effectiveness in detecting unauthorised drones, ensuring more comprehensive airspace security.'” Increasingly, drones are threatening government buildings and critical infrastructure, paralysing airports and large events. Often, they're weaponised in armed conflicts. But as the drone threat advances, so do the technologies that counter it. Next week, our Vice President of Civilian Programs and Strategy, Carl Landrum, will be testifying as part of a joint House Homeland Security Subcommittee hearing, held by the Subcommittee on Border Security and Enforcement and the Subcommittee on Oversight, Investigations, and Accountability. He will share his experiences as a former CBP Chief Patrol Agent with the rising threat of drones. As a key Dedrone executive, he will also detail the kinds of counter-drone technology both available and viable under current regulations, as well as how regulations may be improved to better protect our borders. We are honored to have been invited to testify, and we look forward to helping the subcommittee members better understand the current state of drone usage and the part airspace security can play in better securing our borders.
