Very good dancer and Decent CEO 🏴☠️

Decent is hiring a Director of Product, reporting to our amazing VP of Product Sandy Dedo. This is a critical hire because we are a Product-led company: we will win by delivering a transformative experience to millions around our shared conviction that your health plan doesn't have to suck. Product at Decent is a service organization that exists to empower, unblock, and delight the various stakeholders we serve, including the doctors and nurses practicing direct primary care, our team, and the employers, employees and families suffering from the rising costs of healthcare in America. You can see more about the job here: https://lnkd.in/eCXzHH79 We are well funded and growing quickly, but this is a terrible company to work at unless you are stubborn, optimistic, ambitious, and sincere. We are remote first and we don't care where you live, so long as it's in the U.S. so you can be on our plan. You should have 10+ years of product and people management experience, including with health plans and healthcare. And you should be ready to work hard and smart and do your best to change the world. We are big on humanity, automation, and AI. If this excites you more than it scares you, please email sandy@decent.com. Like always, you get $2,000 and two bottles of whiskey if we hire someone you refer. Know someone who might be into it? Please tag them and share this post.

I loved connecting with my friend Nancy Giacolone yesterday on her podcast Recipe For Success. Check out this clip: I believe every team that wants the best health benefits should work with an advisor or broker, and Decent is on a mission to find the ones like Nancy who understand the value of Direct Primary Care. We also talked about Decent's plan, our origin stories, and the value of writing a user guide to help people deal with you (mine lives at nicksoman.com!) You can see the whole episode here: https://lnkd.in/ghFfVq6P?

Excited to share Nick Soman's recent Q&A with Dave Chase, Health Rosetta-discovering archaeologist! 🏥💡 Dave's insights on transforming healthcare are truly inspiring. A few key takeaways: 1️⃣ Health Rosetta has improved benefits for thousands of employers, eliminating high deductibles and co-pays. 2️⃣ They're reinvesting $1.5 trillion in wasted healthcare costs into social determinants of health. 3️⃣ Dave emphasizes building new models that make existing ones obsolete, rather than fighting the current system. 4️⃣ He dispels the myth that healthcare is inherently expensive, pointing out that actual clinical services only account for about 25% of healthcare spending. Dave's passion for creating a more equitable and efficient healthcare system is contagious. His work proves that positive change in healthcare is not only possible but happening right now. Read the full interview to learn more about Dave's journey, the impact of Health Rosetta, and his vision for the future of healthcare in the US: https://lnkd.in/gH_HDJxR #HealthcareInnovation #HealthRosetta #LeadershipInsights #HealthcareTrends

Can I get a nurse? 15 years ago in this picture I was paralyzed from GBS and needed help for myself. Now I'm fully recovered and need your help for others. Decent is hiring a fully remote Care Navigator (LVN/LPN), reporting to our Director of Care Management and fellow nurse Julia Colf, and there is a direct through line between what we're looking for and my experience as a patient. If you want to apply, please email julia@decent.com. You can read more about the job here: https://lnkd.in/gFSHbekg Nurses: I know you are the beating heart of healthcare. I know you are sharper, stronger, and scrappier than people understand. I know when everyone says healthcare is broken, you feel that, carry it, battle it. We need all of that here. Nothing feels more electrifying than finding your people. We are looking for you, to help take care of our members and lend your strength and your voice to what we're building for patients nationwide. Everyone: most nurses are not on LinkedIn. So we'll send you $2000 and two bottles of whiskey if you refer someone we hire, and we'll throw in a bottle for anyone you refer who we interview. Please share this post, or send it to a nurse (LVN/LPN) you know and love as a compliment. If they want to work with me, even better. If there are other places we need to be looking, let me know that too. I'm pushing the call button, we need help.

This past week, our Healthcare Rebel Alliance series featured an interview with Clint Flanagan, MD, Founder of Nextera Healthcare. Dr. Flanagan, a pioneering figure in the Direct Primary Care (DPC) movement, offers profound insights into the future of healthcare. 🏥 We found Dr. Flanagan's perspective on maintaining affordable care inspiring. Fun fact: he's never raised his rates in 15 years of practice. 😍 For those seeking inspiration and a fresh outlook on healthcare, we recommend reading the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/gp7SRTYS
