Ready, Set, Grow was a Kindergarten Readiness summer camp held in June for our Preschool students heading to Kindergarten next year! 🎠 They celebrated the end of the camp with a carnival-themed Family Fun Day! Students played ring toss, enjoyed a bubble machine, and more. We are already looking forward to next year and can't wait to see these kiddos in school! 💙

A DPS alumni was featured in the new film Inside Out 2! 🌟 Tyreese Burnett, a 1993 Patterson Career Center Summa Cum Laude Graduate, was cast as "Additional Voices" and can be heard as the referee, mind police and the voice of fear for Grace! Tyreese wants to remind students - "Set your intentions and dream aspirations higher than you can imagine. Protect and guard your most inner passions from Dream Killers. Charity Adams 6th grader, Mya Alesha Walton, was featured in Abbott Elementary (Season 1), Raven's Home (Season 6, Episode 7), and Clipped (Season 1, Episode 3)! 🎥 Mya even has a speaking role in the Clipped episode that just aired on June 11th! We are so proud of our students for chasing their dreams of becoming stars 🌟
