Project Reveal! These clients were looking to update the visual aesthetic of their kitchen by reshaping the island, adding new flooring, and a new backsplash, but wanted to keep the existing cabinets and layout of the space. For this specific project, the clients didn’t want to replace the cabinets as they were high quality, and the door style was not dated. They did however want to paint the cabinets to give the kitchen a fresh new look. Pictured in the last picture, you will see a trapdoor. Which is the only access to the basement, in this 1920s German Village-built home. The only way to find an aesthetically pleasing way to edge the door was to use a Schluter edging.

Project Reveal! These clients don't need to travel to Italy, because we brought the Sistine chapel to them! This renaissance inspired powder bath is just off of their small library. The cozy room is the perfect place to curl up with a good book or play a game of chess. Texture and color were the stars of the design—the stone flooring in the powder room, the reeding & fluting trim details and the muted olive green paired with the warm, rich wood tones really bring the entire space together.

Turns out you CAN have your cake & eat it too! These clients spend a lot of time in the kitchen, so function was a high priority. They wanted enough space to cook and bake together as a family and PLENTY of storage. They were also looking for a space that felt fresh & open with Parisian influences. The large butler's pantry is part bar, part bake shop. And the oversized island opens right up to the family room.

Project Reveal! We love it when our clients aren't afraid to take a walk on the wild side! These homeowners wanted a primary suite bathroom that not only reflected their personal style, but made the best use of their limited space. Sloped ceilings always create a wrinkle in design plans, but they aren't impossible to work around! Using the full height side of the room for the vanity and shower fixtures & the shorter side for the shower bench, toilet and custom linen cabinet gave these clients everything they were looking for while not sacrificing function (or fashion).
