A big thank you goes out to Lennar for the amazing support they have provided to Daniel this past year. What started out as a casual outreach by Lennar to learn more about Daniel has quickly turned into a powerful partnership. Lennar employees have come out to tour our campus, they invited us out to their office to talk about our work, made Daniel the beneficiary of their raffle at their golf tournament, and have provided donations to support our work. This month Lennar surprised Daniel with a $100,000 check at their quarterly division meeting! And next month they will be on our campus hosting an ice cream social for our kids! Thank you Lennar for all you do to improve the odds for kids.

So thankful for companies like Complete Recovery Corp. that selected Daniel's back to school drive for their community outreach project. Helping kids have the proper supplies for school is one step in the journey to building healthy, successful futures. Daniel, Florida's oldest child serving agency provides services to roughly 5,000 children and families annually.

Daniel is pleased to welcome Justin Maryak, Chief Operating Officer at Auld & White Constructors to its Board of Trustees. Justin's construction background will be beneficial in the ongoing renovation of our campus.

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Jacksonville, FL USA for the generous grant they awarded us last week. They are also getting this grant matched by the Rotary District so that we can put the total amount towards the purchase of a slightly used minivan to use to transport our kids in our residential treatment and foster care programs.

May is designated as National Foster Care, as well as Mental Health Awareness Month. Foster care and mental health are a large part of the services Daniel offers to the local community. In addition to Daniel's involvement in the dependency (court ordered foster care) and family preservation programs, Daniel also provides foster care to more than 50 children and adolescents exhibiting significant emotional and behavioral disabilities who require a more robust care plan.  Through a variety of services and programs Daniel treats approximately 5,000 kids and families annually. #NationalFosterCareAwarenessMonth #NationalMentalHealthAwarenessMonth

The 23rd Annual Hank Haynes Golf Classic and Online Charity Auction is going on now. The auction concludes tomorrow at the end of the tournament.
