The Dallas Hispanic Bar Association provides a forum where the Hispanic legal community in the DFW metroplex can gather, share ideas, and pursue common goals. The purpose of the DHBA is to promote the social, economic, educational, and civic advancement of the DFW Hispanic community by making the legal system more accessible to the Hispanic community and more responsive to its needs.

  • This afternoon, DHBA held its second annual Current and Former Judicial Extern and Law Clerk Luncheon, sponsored by the Dallas Hispanic Bar Foundation. The purpose of the luncheon is to give current and former DHBA Judicial Externs an opportunity to network with local attorneys who have externed and/or clerked for judges. Thank you to the externs who joined us from each of the first three years of our Program (2022-2024), as well as the local leaders from our community who attended, including Past DHBA Presidents Isaac Faz and Javier Perez, DHBA Treasurer Fernando Juarez, the Honorable Maria Aceves, AUSA Dimitri Rocha, The William “Mac” Taylor American Inn of Court Executive Committee Member Chad Ruback, Federal Bar Association Dallas Chapter President Alan Carrillo, and attorneys Dolly Garcia, Brenda Balli, and Ramon Hernandez.   • DHBA Law Firm Associate Member Highlight Rogelio Reyes is an associate at Jones Day. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts. He also has extensive experience in construction and international law. Rogelio's tenure with the Dallas Cowboys provided him with an in-depth understanding of the intricate legal landscape surrounding sports teams, including contract negotiations, compliance issues, and dispute resolution. He has successfully managed complex litigation cases involving contract disputes, project delays, government contracting, internal investigations, and compliance issues. As a native Spanish speaker, his language skills have been crucial to his practice and work with Spanish-speaking clients and stakeholders. Rogelio is strongly committed to pro bono work, assisting Latin American refugees seeking asylum in the United States. He serves on the Texas Bar of Texas Committee on Laws Relating to Immigration and Nationality.
