The Dallas Human Resource Management Association, Inc. (DHRMA) is a not-for-profit organization with an association membership of more than 2,100 Human Resource professionals and more than 2,400 attendees at The HRSouthwest Conference. Formed in 1939, DallasHR became a local SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) affiliate in 1964. Since that affiliation, DallasHR has been recognized annually by SHRM as one of the top chapters in the US and has been the recipient of three prestigious Pinnacle Awards. DallasHR was formed to foster the professional development of the membership, to be a forum for the exchange of ideas, and to provide leadership for human resource concerns. The Association provides a wide variety of resources to enhance the professionalism, competence and knowledge of its members. The HRSouthwest Conference is the premier educational event of the year and one of the largest regional HR conference in the country. Top industry leaders present more than 100 educational sessions on HR topics. The Conference also offers networking opportunities and exposure to the newest HR products, techniques and services.
