A Grand Slam Evening: Cydecor Family Unites for Unforgettable Night at the Norfolk Tides Game On June 26th, 2024, the Cydecor family gathered for a fun-filled evening at the baseball game between the hometown Norfolk Tides and the Charlotte NC Knights. Despite the Tides not clinching victory, the event was a home run in our hearts, brimming with laughter, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments. The evening was particularly magical as some of our team members' families had the opportunity to participate in on-field activities. Stephen Wyatt, the spirited son of our UEX Jasmine Wyatt, delighted the crowd by racing the Norfolk Tides mascot around the bases—and winning! His enthusiasm and speed were the talk of the night. Rebecca Sherman, daughter of Steven Sherman, showcased her smarts by acing an on-field trivia question. Her quick thinking earned her a fantastic gift from Frontier Airlines and the Norfolk International Airport. The cheers from the crowd said it all—we were thrilled to see her shine. It was more than just a night at the ballpark; it was an opportunity to savor a meal together, enjoy an exciting game, and, most importantly, connect with our Cydecor teammates from different portfolios. The evening concluded with a delightful treat for the kids in attendance, as they got the chance to run the bases, creating lasting memories of the event. Meeting and engaging with so many friendly and vibrant members of the Cydecor family was truly heartwarming. Events like these remind us of the strong, supportive community we have at Cydecor. As one of our attendees beautifully put it, “Taking time to connect is so important; it strengthens our bonds and fuels our collective spirit.” Here's to more collaborative and wonderful gatherings in the future! It’s with great excitement that we introduce Joanna Davenport, who joins Cydecor as our CGO and EVP of Growth. Joanna is a seasoned executive with 30 years of end-to-end business development, growth strategy, and mission experience spanning DoD, Intelligence Community, Department of Homeland Security, and government health customers. Her experience includes the development and management of multi-billion-dollar customer pipelines, creation of data centric customer account plans, and entrée into new customers through “take away” wins, all while transitioning operations and capture teams from reactive capture practices to “outcome-based” capture methodologies.    During her tenure at Leidos, she led the development of the growth strategy for the Intelligence Group as well as the company’s cyber growth campaign. In addition, she led a team of business developers, capture managers, and proposal writers who were focused on the tactical pursuit of opportunities ranging from $2M to $2B. Beyond her diversity of experience, Joanna brings deep relationships across government, industry, and vendors coupled with a visionary approach to growth strategy which will translate to even deeper capabilities and increased opportunities for Cydecor and its employees. As we pause to commemorate Memorial Day, we at Cydecor are reminded of the profound sacrifices made by our brave servicemen and women throughout history. Today, we honor the courageous souls who have given their lives in defense of our nation and its values.   Memorial Day serves as a poignant reminder of the true cost of freedom and the debt of gratitude we owe to those who have laid down their lives in service to our country. Their selfless acts of valor and unwavering dedication have secured the liberties we hold dear and continue to inspire us all.   At Cydecor, we are privileged to work alongside many who have served in the armed forces, as well as to support the missions that safeguard our nation's security. We recognize and honor the sacrifices made by our fellow shipmates, their families, and all who have answered the call to serve.   As we gather with loved ones and reflect on the meaning of this day, let us renew our commitment to honoring the legacy of our fallen heroes. May their courage and sacrifice never be forgotten, and may we strive to uphold the principles for which they gave their all.   On behalf of the entire Cydecor team, we extend our deepest gratitude to those who have served and sacrificed, and we wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.
