  • Aside from being a renowned Philadelphia educator and author, Al Gury finds himself with the enviable title of accomplished impressionist landscape painter! Here we have “Lavender Fields,” a diminutive original work on panel displayed in Studio Moulding’s “Aria” distressed gold wood profile with a matte black enhancer, and Volara rabbet lining from LineCo. https://lnkd.in/ebe6hvBw

  • Soooo…..you want to be a cowboy? A fantasy for many a young person, actor Sam Elliott went on to live that Hollywood dream. This offset lithograph from artist Gary Saderup depicts Mr. Elliott as Virgil Earp, from the blockbuster western movie “Tombstone” (1993). We presented this piece in a natural grey American-sourced barn wood moulding from Frametastic!, Bainbridge matting, Kool Tack mounting, and TruVue “UltraVue” glazing. https://lnkd.in/eKkWA739

  • Philadelphia’s Flower Show is the nation’s largest and the world’s longest-running horticultural event. The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society started the show in 1829, and it has been a garden oasis for families, friends, and visitors ever since! Each year, there are special posters embracing the theme for the exhibition, and seen here is “Bees & Honey” from a former show. We displayed this memorable poster in a rustic black profile from Fotiou Moulding's “Artisan” collection, and TruVue clear acrylic. https://lnkd.in/eEEmMySZ

  • Cyanotype or “blueprint” reproduction was invented by English scientist Sir John Herschel in 1842. This technique is a precursor to modern photography, and is currently practiced by Pennsylvania artist Sarah Rafferty to create beautiful botanical images. We displayed “Morning Meditation” in a white wood profile from Furst Brothers, Crescent matting, Museum mounting, and TruVue Museum glazing. https://lnkd.in/eQZR-Mfq

  • Located in Nashville TN, “The Bluebird Café” is a small but mighty establishment where novice and professional songwriters and artists come to share their creativity! We’ve archivally presented this beautiful letterpress poster from Hatch Show Print as a float mount in an Espresso toned wood moulding from Larson-Juhl’s “Finn” Collection, Crescent matboard, and TruVue 99% UV filtering “Conservation Clear” glazing. https://lnkd.in/efuV6BXx

  • A Zen-like moment of stillness and peace can be contemplated in “Balance/Happy Place,” an original wood engraving by Philadelphia artist Rebecca Gilbert. Gilbert strives to create works that “…hold an air of mystery, a cold comfort, a hair-raising familiarity, and nostalgic warmth.” We presented this signed and numbered print as a float mount using a café crème toned wood burl moulding from Roma’s “Savoir” collection, Bainbridge matboard, and TruVue Museum glazing with 99% UV protection and anti-reflection. https://lnkd.in/eY96m5y8
