In the latest from #FOXBusiness, “John Deere releases statement rejecting DEI policies.” Yet another company has joined the bandwagon of those modifying or scuttling their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies. While some are transitioning to a diversity and inclusion policy only, John Deere is shifting to policies favoring a quality-based workplace that focuses on customer trust. This comes at a time when the company is also reducing headcount. To retain the quality employees that enable a quality-based workplace, they’ll need to be hyper-focused on communicating their new policies and impacts, as well as reinforce how they support and value high-performing employees.
