CTS is launching a new, comprehensive lead-free piezoceramic materials brochure, featuring FOUR NEW MATERIAL FORMULATIONS as well as our already established solutions. The newcomers are the LF SERIES – a material line based on the promising KNN material family. LF22 and LF41 are modelled after traditional soft-doped PZT ceramics, and as such, they display high sensitivity and lower mechanical quality factors, making them well suited for hydrophones, medical imaging and flow/level metering. LF51 and LF52, on the other hand, are harder materials with a high mechanical quality factor and lower dielectric loss. They perform well in high-power ultrasound applications such as medical therapeutics and ultrasonic cleaning/welding. Follow the link below to view our lead-free materials program in its entirety. The concave shape of the PIEZOCERAMIC BOWL allows it to focus powerful high ultrasonic energy on a target location, enabling e.g. non-invasive treatment of everything from kidney stones and early stage tumors to neurological disorders such as essential tremors. In the spirit of the #DragonBoatFestival, the CTS team in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, joined forces with the Little Ants Charity Group to help prep, cook and distribute more than 5000 rice dumplings, a popular seasonal treat, for their local community. At CTS, we are always looking for new ways to volunteer, and the latest event had us outdoors working with the Lyman Woods Nature Preserve in Downers Grove, Illinois. The 20 volunteers from our corporate office worked together on tasks such as gardening, removing invasive bushes, and restoring areas of the preserve with fresh dirt and mulch. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the participants for their hard work and commitment. We eagerly anticipate future opportunities to unite and continue making a positive impact on our community and environment
