Congratulations to CTAA member Luzerne County Transportation Authority (LCTA) for completing their brand-new 215,000 square foot headquarters! CTAA Executive Director Scott Bogren celebrated the new facility in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. with LCTA’s Bob Fiume. The building will house administration, operations, and maintenance for LCTA– and there’s even a CNG fueling station onsite. CTAA’s 33rd Annual National Community Transportation Roadeo put the best and safest bus drivers in the country into competition for top titles. From pre-trip inspections and assisting disabled passengers to driving and passenger stops, drivers went for the crown in all areas. This year, we hosted the classic Body-on-Chassis vehicle category, as well as a brand-new competitive vehicle class– 30’ transit coach division!
