Crunchyroll celebrated #Juneteenth in style with our Black @ Crunchyroll ERG! We honored this important day with music, drinks, and a spirited trivia game, testing our knowledge of Black culture, music, film, TV, and history worldwide. It was a joyous occasion filled with laughter, conversations, and some epic dance moves. Check out some moments from our pre-Juneteenth Happy Hour in Culver City. 📸

Another year, another amazing #Pride Parade in San Francisco! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ This Sunday, we welcomed Crunchyroll and PlayStation employees and guests into the Crunchyroll San Francisco office to celebrate Pride Month with our Rainbow Roll Employee Resource Group. 🌈 The day began with everyone gathering at the office to mix and mingle followed by everyone heading down to the parade together to walk with the PlayStation Float up Market Street. We had a fantastic turnout and are already looking forward to next year. A big shoutout to Jocelyne Capil, Colton Ludwig, and Mitchell Budge for helping organize such an incredible day and thank you to all those who volunteered and participated as well!

🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ In honor of #PrideMonth, we wanted to share some history about our LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group (ERG), "Rainbow Roll." The ERG's vision is to create a world where every member of the LGBTQ+ community feels like they can call Crunchyroll home. Here's just some of what Rainbow Roll has been up to: 🕺 Marched in both the SF and LA Pride parades, alongside Sony PlayStation and Sony Pictures Entertainment, going on 3 years running! ❓ Host an annual “AMA” style presentation educating the company on LGBTQ+ terms and allowing an open, safe space for people to anonymously ask questions about the LGBTQ+ community they would like to know. 📣 Worked with One Sony to host a panel with several executive level LGBTQ+ members of the wider Sony family talking about leadership challenges and themes. 👻 Put on a tongue-in-cheek “Horror is Gay” themed happy hour and presentation last October in Dallas–with plans to expand this year to include additional offices. ☕ Host a sporadic work-break get together in the Dallas office called “LGBTea Time,” where we have unusual tea and chat. 📙 Contributed to our office libraries with LGBTQ+ books sourced from an indie LGBTQ+ bookstore. Notable highlights include our very own Briana Lawrence's book. 💰 Donated to the Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT) for our FY2023 charity partner and hosted drag bingo social hours. One of Rainbow Roll's biggest goals the past year and this year has been to make sure as much of the ERG budget as possible ends up in the hands of the LGBTQ+ community, preferably independent sellers, vendors, and speakers. Here's to continuing the Rainbow Roll vision in the year ahead! 🌈 🧡

So excited to see noted anime influencer (as well as Olympian/World Champion Volleyball athlete) Sarah Pavan on the Crunchyroll Anime Effect Podcast. Sarah is and always has been my favourite athlete to work with as she is so open and unabashedly herself. Listening to her talk about how she entered (and re-entered anime), her love of the Haikyu!!, and that she's starting the journey that is One Piece brings me so much joy. Thank you to Rob Mackay for helping get Sarah on the podcast. Shout out to Nicholas Friedman, LeAlec Murray ,and Leah President for creating an incredible space for guests (as usual). Available wherever you listen to Podcasts: https://lnkd.in/gjgPrR-D
