Celebrate the work of two contemporary artists with "Raúl Gonzo: Color Madness" and "Storywork: The Prints of Marie Watt From the Collection of Jordan D. Schnitzer and his Family Foundation." "Color Madness" is the first museum exhibition for Sacramento-based photographer Raúl Gonzo, while "Storywork" features prints, scupltures, and textile works from internationally renowned artist Marie Watt. Both artists use their practice to explore contemporary issues while also including playful nods to Pop culture. Moderated by Emmy-nominee Jody Stillwater, this insightful conversation features Jack Kohler, filmmaker and founder of the Hoopa Tribal nonprofit film/media organization On Native Ground, and Adam Piron, Director of Sundance Institute's Indigenous Program and co-founder of COUSIN, a film collective dedicated to supporting Indigenous artists experimenting with and pushing the boundaries of the moving image.
