Today, CPM unveiled its newest state-of-the-art facility at a Grand Opening celebration that welcomed many esteemed guests. The new site in Waterloo, IA, USA serves the animal feed, oilseed, alternative fuel, and other industries and produces a wide variety of equipment including pellet mills, flaking mills, hammermills, roller mills, pellet crumblers and related aftermarket parts. The 172,960-square-foot building includes space for advanced manufacturing, modern workspaces and offices, testing and application development, and equipment and parts engineering and design. Application Spotlight: Preparation Impacts Extraction One of many variables with extraction is the mechanical work or preparation that goes into preparing material for solvent extraction. In CPM Crown’s lab our experienced staff (Jacob Durst) can perform various trials to see how ‘prepping’ or ‘conditioning’ the material effects the extraction process. CPM’s Crown is excited to attend the 65th Annual Production & Processing of Oilseeds conference that will be held in beautiful Montenegro from 23-27 June 2024. Crown is this year’s Coffee Sponsor.
