Frida Murithi, RN, Med/Surg 2, was recently honored for a "Good Catch" recognition. This recognition is given to a staff member who reports or corrects an event that might have the potential to result in an error or injury, but did not. Our staff must rely on their skill and intuition at the bedside, and that is what Frida did with a recent patient. Thank you, Frida!

This past week, we honored and celebrated over 100 employees who reached a milestone in their employment with Corona Regional Medical Center. We honored from 5 years of service to 40 years of service. Today, we recognize Anita, who is part of our Health Information Services Department. Anita takes care of all newborn birth certificates and works with the family to make sure all the information is correct. Anita loves the people she works with and is proud of her 40 years of service to CRMC. Congratulations, and thank you, Anita!

We are so excited to have 24 High School students start their volunteer experience with CRMC for the summer! All 24 students went through a rigorous application process, parent orientation and student orientation and a 1:1 interview before being scheduled for their volunteer role. All 24 students have an area of the hospital to volunteer in and gain some great insight into healthcare roles. A great example is Vaishali volunteering in the Maternity Department and Saicharan in the Outpatient Surgery Department. Congratulations, Students!
