Thank you again to Wells Fargo, Luisa P. Perez, and Krissy Moore! We are incredibly excited to expand the diversity of organizations that our Neighborhood Leadership Program serves. This Summer cohort has already allowed us to bring in 18 new participating organizations from across all five boroughs to our Neighborhood Leadership community. Last week, they spent time building a strong foundation with each other, developing an understanding of some adaptive leadership concepts, and team-building with their fellow cohort members at their opening retreat.

Coro’s Neighborhood Leadership program (NL) has expanded thanks to a transformative $500,000 grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation. For the first time in Coro New York’s history, NL is hosting a second cohort in one program year, nearly doubling the capacity and collaboration among diverse economic development and commercial revitalization leaders across all five boroughs in 2024. Thank you again to Wells Fargo! Cheers to our 2024 NL Summer Cohort, who completed their orientation yesterday. A special thank you to Krissy Moore, Luisa P. Perez, Jacqueline Hlavenka-Sansone, and Morgan Geraghty from the NYC Department of Small Business Services for your support.

Congrats to our 2024 Neighborhood Leadership (NL) cohort on their graduation. A huge thank you to our partners at the NYC Department of Small Business Services, especially Morgan Geraghty and Ashley T.! We were also excited to have our newest partner, Wells Fargo, in attendance to witness our Change Project Showcase and learn more about how our participants applied the Coro knowledge, skills, and network to their work. Lastly, we could not have had another successful cohort without the leadership of the Coro NL team David Rivera, Farah Mohmad, and Garrett Lucien MBA!
