ConventionSouth’s July issue includes refreshing ideas for meetings to inspire—whether on the water, in a small market, or accompanied by pets. For a “pawsitively perfect” event, learn how pet-friendly hotels are making business travel easier for attendees and their furry friends. The cover story, “On the Waterfront,” looks at how boat and barge venues can make a splash with your next group event. “Small Markets, Big Business” reveals how small markets can make a big splash with event planners. From local charm and history to hospitality and personal service, second- and third-tier cities bring their own unique appeal while still providing the conveniences and amenities of large host destinations. Plus, this month our Event Planners’ Guides explore Mississippi and West Virginia. Read all this and more in our July digital edition, at ConventionSouth.com. https://lnkd.in/gJUpUARY

From our June issue: Half the fun of visiting a new city or region is sampling the local dining and drinking options. The South has long been a treasure trove of tasty eateries, from mouth-watering seafood and barbecue to four-star nouveau cuisine bistros. For meeting and convention attendees, sharing a meal with other colleagues can be a highlight of the experience.
