UnitedHealthcare is making a meaningful impact in Washington by awarding $1 million in Empowering Health grants to six nonprofit organizations. The Chinese Information Services Center, Consejo Counseling & Referral Service, Volunteers of America Eastern Washington, Step By Step Family Support Center and NAMI Spokane will use the funds to assist Washingtonians experiencing challenges from food access and nutrition, social isolation and behavioral health issues.
