Awesome article about our founders who went back to their high school to talk about starting a business. We're building a brand that stands for more than sports. We hope to motivate young people to do what is necessary to improve, to take a chance on themselves, to Conquer. Matthew Lee Louis Long

HOSTS WANTED. Step up for the community and host a game. Or 50
Someone's gotta do it! At Conquer we joke that there are two types of people... 1. Those who show up to the party 2. Those who are willing to throw it The former is easier, but the latter, rewarding. I know that there are a lot of CONNECTORS on LinkedIn. People that are eager to make new connections- both professional and personal. Conquer allows you to do that, through sports. We are looking for community leaders in NYC to host games. It can be for networking, fundraising, or just for fun. With a private group (work team, religious group, friends) or open to the public. Regardless of your WHY, if you want to bring people together through sports in NYC, we'd love to partner with you... ...and we'll provide the space and equipment. https://lnkd.in/dhxq27pd

Us Conquers Me #conquercorporate
Imagine your company personally engaged in working as a team, with their endorphins, adrenaline, and dopamine levels boosted. Now imagine them in the office the next day. --- Introducing Conquer Corporate - giving employees access to unlimited local sports games in NYC. With our corporate program, employees can play at their convenience. They don't have to commit to the same day every week. In fact, they can sign up for a game with a co-worker as little as 30 minutes before it starts. Employees that play together, stay together. If you're an HR leader, manager, or employee that is interested in our program, I'd love to talk with you. "Us" Conquers "Me"

Great interview with one of our favorite organizers in NYC Tim Frazier on the weekly game he hosts for professionals in NYC to network. Be like Tim! ⭐️
Mixing sports and networking isn't anything new. But adult athlete Tim Frazier takes it to another level, and we think it's pretty cool. Check out the story on our blog. #sports #networking #adultathlete #soccer #adultsplaysports https://lnkd.in/gfhSfC59

Introducing SNAPSHOT! Check out our most used internal tool.
Below is a quick demo of my favorite internal tool that we have at Conquer App. We call this "Snapshot". *Shoutout Blake Hirt and Tanner Luke for designing and building this bad boy. Snapshot is SUPER powerful. It shows us everythingggg that's going on in each of our markets and is used by everyone on our team. Even some of our top organizers use it to see how they're doing! With any marketplace, you are constantly juggling supply and demand to make sure liquidity (matching demand with supply) is high. For us, ensuring strong liquidity is especially challenging since we are matching 10+ players (demand) to one game (supply), and those players need to be roughly the same skill level and be available at the same time 😅. I highly recommend building a tool like snapshot if you have a hyperlocal marketplace or a business that operates in multiple markets. A few recent use cases: 1. Using Snapshot, we saw that fill rate for NJ soccer was 98% in December with 0 games cancelled. This informed us to push our organizers to host more as demand is clearly outpacing supply for NJ soccer. 2. In Chicago we had a drastic drop off in performance for Pickleball in the last week of December. It turned out that most of our pickleball games in Chi are held at schools which were closed for the holidays. We made a few calls and got our organizers set up at private facilities for the week. 3. We saw that our retention for NYC soccer has been poor. We bought some of our organizers new equipment, have asked them to make an extra effort to make the experience better for players, and have lowered game prices to help boost retention. https://lnkd.in/e6VWckxK
